Haunt Airbrush Makeup Bootcamp with Josh Counsel

Come and join international makeup artist and body painter Josh Counsel for 4 days of airbrush classes specifically created for haunt industry professionals.  Josh ahs worked on some of the world’s largest haunted entertainment attractions (Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, Ocean Park Halloween Fest in Hong Kong, Howl O Scream at SeaWorld Orlando).  These seminars are available to adults 18+ and will be held on four days over the course of four weeks: Tuesday, September 26; Tuesday, October 3; Tuesday, October 10;  and Tuesday, October 17 at our location 5800 Hansel Avenue Orlando, FL from 5:30-9:30pm.  Classes are priced progressively and taking all 4 classes is encouraged as each class is geared toward a different specialty and topic.  All parking is in the VAMP parking lot which is located behind our building and is accessed via Wilkes Avenue. No parking is allowed in the driveways or porticos.  This class is open to all levels of airbrush artists.  Artists must provide their own model and equipment (airbrush, compressor, paints). All classes will be held at VAMP.

Day 1, September 26, 5:30 – 9:30 PM: Introduction, Simple Faces, Vampires, Creating the Illusion of Pressure, and Simple Distortions

Day 2 October 3, 5:30 – 9:30 PM: Zombies & Body Shading, Mottling, Veining, Rotting Effects, Anatomical Shading (Chest, Arms, and Hands)

Day 3 October 10, 5:30 – 9:30 PM: Old Age, Aging Techniques, Scars, Character Design

Day 4 October 17, 5:30 – 9:30 PM: Clowns, Broken Dolls, Advanced Distortion Techniques, Cracks, Character Work
